Lubricant - What's Available
Water based lubricant is provided in 10ml sachets packed into plain white bags. Each bag contains 12 sachets of lubricant. The bags are sealed with a label which has the product code and use-by-date printed on it. Please note; lubricant has a relatively short shelf life.
Lubricant should always be used for anal sex. Please read further information in the green box. Lubricant can be used during vaginal sex if dryness is an issue.
The Lubricant we supply is water based and can be used with both latex and latex free condoms.
Please note that some types of lubricants are oil based (for example baby oil, massage oil and petroleum jelly) and will destroy latex condoms.
Clear Lubricant
Light Lube is a water based formula for gentle lubrication. Clear, odourless and non-staining, it is long lasting and can be reactivated with a few drops of water. CE approved. 100% Paraben free.

General Advice on Lubricant use
- Do not add lubricant to the inside of the condom
- Do not apply lubricant on the penis before putting on the condom.
- Any oil based product, including baby oil or Vaseline, can damage the condom causing it to split or tear.
- Lubricant is only advised for vaginal sex when vaginal dryness is an issue.
- Lubricant is always advised for anal sex.
General advice regarding anal sex
- Lubricant is always advised for anal sex
- Use plenty of water based lubricant on both the condom (the whole shaft not just the tip) and the anus.
- It is recommended that people change to a fresh condom after every half hour of anal sex.
